Nov 16, 2016 · The Internet on my PC'S is running extremely slow and this is only happening to my computer and no one else's devices in my house (normally I have speeds of 700-800kb/s but at the moment I'm only getting 5.6kb/s). I've tried running virus scans, turn off a bunch of stuff and tried troubleshooting but I can seem to find an answer anywhere. It's normal for your Internet connection speed to vary, but when it becomes noticeable and consistent, there could be something going on that needs to be addressed. Common things that can intermittently slow you down include: peak usage times, weather, electronic interference, viruses and malware, overworked routers, modems and/or computers. For instance, sometimes searching in google after pressing enter it will be a white screen for 5-10 seconds before loading the search result page.
